Mid-Week Check in from Puerto Vallarta
Yes, I know there are emails, comments, links and such to get to, comment on, et cetera, et cetera. Here's why I've been so lax. First, a view from our master bedroom terrace, past one of the two guest bedrooms, with me on the living room terrace (this is one huge condo, in excess of 3,000 square feet).
Now, down at the pool, a daily affair.
And what would a trip to a place like this be without a huge platter of grilled fruit de mer? All to myself? This one had fish, a lobster, octopus, shrimp, prawns, mussels, and crab. It was excellent. This was at La Laguna Tino's.
Maybe a post or two more a bit later, unless I get sidetracked, which as you can see is quite possible.

Sheesh. I am jealous! I had to scrape ice off my windshield this morning.
The scenery looks great, the food looks great, and you look great. Have fun!
You look a full twenty years younger than your 'before' pics. It's like "Benjamin Button"…you have literally lost a year in age for every month you've eaten this way.
Richard, it's nice of you to check in with us, but I think everyone would understand if you just let things go dark for awhile. Have a great time, you're in paradise! Lucky guy.
We need new progress pictures–stat!
Wow, Richard! You're looking great, too! This is going to encourage me to get out and do more of those high intensity workouts. Because after all, it's only 5 months to wedding dress time!!
Tasty food!
Richard is 48 going on 35…..haha.
We're well settled in here, now, the place is so nice that we're really only venturing out in the late afternoon for dinner, and blogging (at least like this) isn't work at all.
But thanks. I really appreciate my readers.
Hopefully soon, by end of Feb.
Did you eat that whole platter there by yourself? It looks delicious, but I think I could barely manage about a third of that!
All I can say is the food looks so good that it is really, truly food porn!
Couldn't finish it all. I probably got about 85% of it.
Is it just me or is it noticeable that Richard is pretty muscular. You can tell by looking at his scapular region. He looks to have added good muscle tone from the other pictures.
Workin' on it. Thanks, J. This week on the beach I've been doing sprints just about every day. I'm really getting to like them, and what I've been finding is I can get way more intensity with short quick strides rather than long strides. I did four sprints yesterday managing the best intensity yet, and I woke up this morning very tight and toned all over, as if I had done a full body workout yesterday.
