Here was the one photo I snapped, but there are lots of others. And what an incredible meal it was.
To see the rest, head on over to Julie’s blog, Fraises et Tartines ("Strawberries & Toasts"). Not only has Julie put together an amazing set of photos, but you get the complete recipes, as well as the interesting story behind her wanting to do a paleo meal in grand fashion.
I’m not going to spoil anything, so head on over and have a look. OK, I’ll say one thing: how many people are going to have you over and make homemade butter for you? Check it all out.
On another note, I provided some of the entertainment for the evening. When I lived in France in the early 90s (Julie is half French and just returned from a month-long visit) champagne was almost everywhere, at all times for any sort of get-together or celebration. And, the French have a particular way of opening the bottle, which I demonstrate here. I’ll embed the YouTube version once it shows up there.
Finally, here’s some other creations from Julie’s blog that are very paleo friendly.
