My Article at Passionate Fitness

A couple of weeks ago I posted this on fatty liver reversal. Around the same time I was asked to submit an article to Passionate Fitness and submitted the same one after checking with Rafi to make sure that would be OK.

The time for submitting articles is now past, and now it’s time to vote. Just go to Passionate Fitness where you’ll find the six contest submissions on the left sidebar, and the voting widget on the right sidebar. Please vote for the article you like best.

Not familiar with the Passionate Fitness site I tried to take into account their mission and how your entry might fit.

Clearly the other entries were more fitness/exercise oriented. Yours was dietary and Mark’s was more basic and fundamental than exercise: an advocacy for barefoot living and exercise.

Both yours and Mark’s were the only ones with any sort of supporting evidence/empirical data. With all due respect I found the other entries to fall into one of two categories: pep talks, or helpful advice. It was close between yours and Mark Sisson’s but after objective review, I had to go with your entry Richard. I continue to be impressed at the depth and breadth of your postings. Thanks for your conscientious work. It hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Richard, thanks for submitting an article to the contest.

In response to Bay Area Sparky,

Passionate Fitness’s mission is to bring a diverse and rich amount of information to the the fitness community while allowing for deep community interaction via forums and social networking profiles.

We do this by allowing any member to submit an article, and more recently, submit recipes or workout programs. The purpose of the contest was to kick start the process as we are a relatively new site. If you haven’t signed up for the site already, you definitely should. Richard is a member there. 🙂

    Cheers,

    Rafi Bar-Lev
    Founder of Passionate Fitness
