We’re down in the San Diego area doing family graduation parties & such.

That’s awesome. Three of my relatives live in San Diego – I love it there and may live there someday. Enjoy yourself bud, you deserve it.

I live in England – From your post it seems that in the USA that school is over for summer! Is that so? How many weeks do school summer holidays last for?

It varies depending on district & school. In general, it’s between 2-2 1/2 months. Used to be 3 when I was in school but now they have 2 1-week vacations during the school year in addition to the Xmas and spring break.

I hope you enjoy San Diego. I live here and YOU CANNOT BEAT THE WEATHER! Unfortunately for you, this is the one time of year when there can be lingering cloudiness, but it usually clears by mid-morning.
