As a white, northern Barbarian genetically, I think I’ve found my niche in terms of fat loss, lean retention, and even lean gain in spite of a substantial caloric deficit. Yea, I know…. But I’ve explained why, and even in contrast to potatoes.
Just wrote all about the first 8 days on raw milk and my own homemade kefir in the Newsletter, even integrating a serendipitous post by Dr. John Briffa, MD (who listed my blog as a “good irreverent blog” in his last book: Escape the Diet Trap).

This will persist for 4-8 weeks depending but so far, probably the shorter timeframe—6 weeks is a reasonable bet. In the end, I will be at about 165 pounds.
