…Oh, wait…wrong again. That was George Zimmerman:
George Zimmerman helped rescue four people from an overturned vehicle last week, just days after he was cleared of all charges in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, officials said Monday.
Seminole County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Kim Cannaday said in a statement that deputies responding to the car wreck in Sanford — the Orlando suburb where Martin was shot — found Zimmerman and another man had already helped a couple and their two children out of the flipped SUV – a blue Ford Explorer. They were not injured.
The sheriff’s office statement said Zimmerman spoke with a deputy at the scene and then left. He did not see the crash happen.
You can rest assured that phone lines are buzzing right now, trying to find out the race of those people trapped. Because that’s the most important thing!
…Why not just ask Zimmerman? I’m quite sure he checked before he jumped into such a rescue.
[You really cannot even hope for such delicious serendippity as this.]
