Please Just “Take it Too Far,” Already

And there is a genuine insurrectionist spirit in the conservative-libertarian movement — a spirit that, if taken too far, can cause young people to disrespect men with a badge, and to disrespect their elders.

Libertarian activist should really have just rolled down his window

So there you have it. Respect based on wearing badges and number of birthdays.

Patrick Howley is a moron and a wanker.

That is all.

The video, in which the young man refuses to roll down his window and give his age to a highway cop — actions that lead the cop to assume he has drugs in
his car — has been viewed more than 2.5 million times, presumably by a largely libertarian audience.

Yep, I’m sure people with drugs in their car typically assert their Constitutional rights even though they know it’s going to piss off the cops and cause them to behave in exactly the manner that they did, if not worse.

    Respect mah athoritah!

And then there’s the part in the video where one of the cops says something like, “He’s innocent and he knows his rights,” right before one cop spots the camera and turns it over and they cease talking. Where does that fit into the ridiculous narrative that this kid’s behavior led the cops to assume he had drugs in the car.

    Respect mah athoritah!

The guy’s a hero. Contrast this to the sheeple who think going to a group protest and shouting a few slogans makes them warriors.

The “He’s innocent” part sounded like he was parroting the driver’s words sarcastically to me, as he then commented on the air fresheners under the seat. Everything to them was a drug masking technique.

I actually haven’t even watched a second of the vid. Seen one, seen all, just like porn but this is probably anal. All the drug BS is just pretense so they can bring a “perp” into the station house and collect high fives and tell fish stories.
They don’t care that they are not talking about fish.

If you haven’t done anything wrong, then what’s there to be afraid of?
