“Land of the Free” Update: A Few Unbelievable Quick Hits

The essential thing to keep in mind is that none of this is new.

It’s only perception and awareness by the generally blind and ignorant—the 99% (or, voter-mouth-breathers). The sky isn’t falling. Brutalized, coercive threat and execution against those who really create the values people not only need to survive in civilization, but are also willingly pay for in trade, has been going on for 10,000 years—first perpetuated by thugs and marauders on horseback. Now, in suit and robe, cloaked in marble edifice, riding limos and jetting in jets…it’s still principally the same: theft. Then, it was about the first real assets in human history: harvest of field and domestic livestock. Now, it’s fucking anything they can can get their hands on, because assets abound.

The only difference is that with the advent of the Internet and various technology, even ignorant mouth-breather voters get it right up in their faces, or a kick in the teeth—and I always prefer the latter. I love it when “Land of the Free” ignoramuses get it right where it hurts, and fucking hard—as well as the commies, but I’ll save that for another time. I love justice, and ignorance of plain old reality is no excuse, while “ignorance of the law is no excuse,” has always been a scam the weak and feeble of mind always sucked up to; and that’s why I love to see them hurt. I do. Bloodlust. I’d also love to see it be otherwise; but, until a Whore for State is hard to find, I’m just stuck.

~~~ Airbnb and Its Enemies: Who’s Afraid of a $10-a-Night Sofa?
It’s short. This strikes somewhat close to home as, a few years ago, we turned our vacation home into a vacation rental because we only went a few times per year and the costs were rather….important. I kinda suggested it to Beatrice on a lark and she was in. We spent 10 days getting it ready, making it less personal, etc. I had no idea if it would work but low & behold, we make easily 4 times what we’d make if I rented it conventionally (and we would have no access ourselves), and it now has 46 5-star reviews and a single 4-star (because the lady couldn’t figure out how to turn on an overhead light-fan combo where someone had turned it off by the chain—no, serious). We’ve since acquired a contract for two kinds of suites in Cabo San Lucas and it’s going great.
…But renting out your couch or guest room nightly, when you’re at home yourself? Ahhh, can’t say I’d be in for that—or staying at someone else’s place when they’re home? On the other hand, I have this very queer trait, in that I kinda don’t care what inconveniences or risks others subject themselves too. And I’m willing to understand the simple fact that people actually have different values, needs, circumstances…and if they’re not competent in that management, then I don’t really care either.
All voter-mouth-breathers see to everyone’s “protection” at all timez, I’m sure. Totally “good will,” too, I’m surez. Nothing in it for themz. They’re just “concernedz.” I do note, however, that everything I G-search on the issue is about the State’s “protection” and their “laws on the books;” and of course, the people with zero standing who benefit from rent control—permanent underclass in NYC, aka Kings in PNG. Never is there a mention of the risk renters are taking on by having strangers board in their home nightly. That’s because they’re making money on their own, and that immediately makes one a target of the State.
…So the gist here, in the short video, is that tens and maybe hundreds of thousands of people the world over are creating the modern equivalent of The Inn on their own, and with a little help from technology, like And “people” have panties in a bunch over it. Why? Silly. Because they’re government and government wishes to maintain the illusion that they control everything when in fact, voter-mouth-breathers are simply the types who seek the lash at every opportunity. They have no clue about how to live a human life. Thez needz helpinz.
~~~ Woman to serve 2 months for perjury in innocence case

I use that headline because…try lying to the government. Martha Stewart, even, did a year for lying to State liars (that is the essential practicality at work)—and they couldn’t even get her on the original basis of the investigation. You’ll do years. Oh, and incidentally, this woman only lied about being sexually assaulted when she was 10, the other kid was 14. Years later, owing to a stupid fucktard of a religious mom who scared the shit out of her, she picked a name. He was arrested, prosecuted by typical whores that include lawyers and judges, and served 4 years in jail.

I am embarrassed to be an American. See, a lying 17-yr-old girl scared shitless about a 3-yr-old made-up event is a quotidien yawn. It ought to have ended there. But there was not an adult in sight. Only a fucktard religious mom who wanted an excuse for why her human animal girl got wet between the legs and used a tool, and prosecutors and a judge only too willing to grab headlines and line their employee files.

The prosecutors and judge (the State) are the real villains here, and the 99% voter-mouth-breathers will never see it. It’s the 17-yr-old girl who likes Internet porn! Not excusing her lie; and especially, holding to it. But there was not a single true adult in sight. That’s my beef.

She gets off light after the Whores of State incarcerated him for 4 years. Why? Because they don’t want to create a disincentive for others to come forward. So, the victim—locked up for 4 years unjustly—gets to bear yet another injustice. “Hey, there may be others like you, so we don’t want to ‘hurt them.'” And fuck you, BTW. All restitution will be paid by the penniless accuser.

Yea, thanks fer fuckin’ nothin’. You’re just a Pawn of the State, voter-mouth-breathers, and nothing more. At least all of you voter-mouth-breathers look, act and play the part to perfection. There’s that. Entertainment.

Here’s Whores of State logic for you, in league with voter-mouth-breathers: let’s be unjust to the one, so we can uncover more injustice. See how benevolent we are, voter-mouth-breathers?

~~~ Accomplished Violinist Violates Boardwalk Noise Ordinance
It’s short.
OK, now I’m speechless.
…Soup lines. It would be thrilling to see Armani Suits and handmade English shoes in soup lines. Voter-mouth-breathers will never vote their way out of this.
Get this through your puny, State indoctrinated minds: the government is your enemy. Wall to wall and floor to ceiling. They want more and voluminous influence, power, and say-so over everything in your lives and every little thing you do. But, problem: they always keep tossing doggie treats and you always keep wagging your bobbed tails. They meticulously nurture; are dependent upon a permanent underclass for the sole purpose of inducing ignorant voter-mouth-breathers into unearned feelings of guilt and shame—all over that same underclass they’re in league in creating, and perpetuating. It’s completely incetuous and obscene—to the the point that brothers & sisters fucking is kinda lame by comparison.
There is no such thing as an intelligent voter. Not a single one in the entire world.
    Tell us how you REALLY feel!
    Joking aside, it does seem to be getting worse. I hear tales of 10yo boys running around with
    .22 rifles all day long from the 50s or 60s.
    Am I wrong? The State is getting worse.
  2. Richard Nikoley on August 23, 2013 at 12:58
    “Am I wrong? The State is getting worse.”
    I state unequivocally yes (you are wrong). And unequivocally no (you are wrong).
    The state is multitudes better. This is my main heartburn with libs and anarchists. So many want to grab attention or sell something, so it’s the same shtick.
    In times past, there would be no trial or anything. Disputes resolved peacefully was the exception. This does happen regularly and to imply that people aren’t in many ways better off (I dispute the actual cause—it’s not government, they are leeches) is just basic neophyte anti-government.
    My target is actually not the state. It is the State of Moron, or, the 99 percenters (America). Those who just flow through a human life unaware of much—which is fine, per se, though I have zero respect for them—but they give sanction and proxy to predators, pay their way for a so-called safety net, and just don’t give a shit—not about “anyone else,” which is the general schtick, but they don’t give a shit about even anything—not even human civilization of which they’re obviously a part. Or, they’re just stupid nationalists. I don’t give a runny shit or wasted fuck about “America.” …And I’d love to see it in soup lines as a general reset. I’m a human being. I care about human animals generally and America is now the biggest predator on earth.
    I don’t even give much of a shit about “enlightenment ideas,” anymore. Big fail. It does not resonate. So, people have to starve. Maybe then they’ll get it. Hey, it’s like 9 meals away.
    In short, the government as problem is a symptom. The problem is 99% of the people. The are just dumb as nails. Especially the one’s who watch Fox News and CNN nonstop, or The Blaze, now.
  3. Richard Nikoley on August 23, 2013 at 17:23
    Laf, a wanker moron who will never have another comment published here just told me authoritatively to leave, like he owns the place.
    Never realized Spiro Agnew could have such influence on dark hearts and stupid minds.
    That’s to you, Charles Grashow.
  4. Ataraxia on August 23, 2013 at 17:58
    maybe the problem isn’t that 99% of the people are dumb as nails, but that they are not getting smarter at a consistent rate? Typical evolution, perhaps.
    Because if they haven’t been getting smarter overall longterm, what was ‘the actual cause’ you’re getting at in : “to imply that people aren’t in many ways better off (I dispute the actual cause – it’s not government, they are leeches)…” .
    Could be a tiny percentage ‘carrying’ the rest in a certain direction, but the rest still had to see the benefit of going that way, I think.
    Anyway, the underlying reasoning is very interesting, please expand?
    You may have seen the story about an old war vet that was beaten to death by a couple of teenagers a few days ago. It’s been showing up on my FB feed with headlines, and most of people’s outrage, centered on the fact that he was once a war veteran. I suppose if he were just some old guy who worked at the factory, or was a janitor, it wouldn’t be so shockingly awful. No, he had been a wounded, war vet so that counts for extra points. Sad.
  6. RobertVE on August 24, 2013 at 02:31
    Can you really blame people for not getting it? It’s just genes and upbringing conspiring. If they don’t get it than it is a flaw in human nature. Just like when people believe in the great beard man up in the sky, they just can’t help it and there seems to be now way to make them see it. You are just lucky that you didn’t become an ignorant person and others are unlucky.
  7. Richard Nikoley on August 24, 2013 at 14:41
    “dumb as nails” and “99%” is hyperbole, for one. Second, It’s relative over time and human development (biological and social/cultural evolution, migration, etc.), which is the larger point. It’s also different proportionally. Modern technology and industrialization has freed many from the mundane concerns of from where and how they acquire what they need to survive (get a job being the typical answer; a job created and provided by someone else—then spend the rest of one’s life whining and complaining about it).
    In essence, humans now have the luxury of being dumb as nails without paying the price virtually all humans that existed more than 10,000 years ago had to pay. The result and the biggest concern of all is that we are actually undercutting natural evolution by means of “selective breeding.” Only, unlike in the wrongheaded eugenics views of some decades past, we’re going full scale in the opposite direction by ensuring that the most dependent minded bear the most offspring.
    That said, I have this weird optimism. There’s really no accounting for where super great minds come from.
  9. Ataraxia on August 24, 2013 at 22:00
    I wonder if maybe I can bolster your optimism :
    “There’s really no accounting for where the super great minds come from.”
    This is more than optimism, it’s a historically and currently evidence-based conclusion, but more to the point of the ‘proportional difference’ that you’re on about, it’s not a rarity nor an exception. Most brilliant people came from not-brilliant parents. Is there any evidence that this has changed recently?
    This then means that it doesn’t matter all that much if the “the most dependent minded bear the most offspring” , because there’s nothing to say that proportionally more of those offspring will be dependent-minded than in the past.
    It’s easy to get a depressed world-view though, I do frequently (!), because the same reasoning also means that the Absolute numbers are greater, so it does look like there are a whole lot more or them, because there are [she says, blinking].
    You’d have to believe that apart from known heritable pathologies (and also a few talented extremes), character and intelligence traits are both hard-wired and inherited, or at least Mostly inherited, in order to believe that selective breeding would have any effect on the distribution (not to be confused with ‘tabula rasa’, which is just silly: of course people are born with different intelligence and talents and other traits, there’s just no evidence that these are mostly inherited).
    Which is all to say that Dysgenics is just as wrongheaded as Eugenics and for exactly the same reason?
    Logic can lead to optimism just as well as pessimism, logically (trying to get a smile from you here – should be easy after seeing George Lopez tonight?!).
  10. Richard Nikoley on August 25, 2013 at 01:01
    While I agree with all of that, it’s of little practical comfort because the world for the foreseeable future is built for mouth breathers, by mouth breathers, eagerly voting in their zoo masters.
  11. Ataraxia on August 25, 2013 at 01:47
    Absolute numbers do matter. The mouth breathers reached critical mass some time ago.
    When fell running or walking up steep slopes, it has my practice for some 40 years to only nose breathe.
    I limit my work rate, reduce my rests to 3 minutes per hour, reduce water loss via an open mouth and ensure that the water in my water bottle lasts for the day.
  13. AbsorbAff on August 25, 2013 at 05:00
    I actually know the dude Rob in that first Reason video who’s renting out his couch. Super nice guy. 🙂 But you’ve got to leave acting, Rob!
  14. Ataraxia on August 25, 2013 at 07:47
    Thanks for the reset, rueful smiling now.
  15. LeonRover on August 25, 2013 at 08:21
    Oh, and another point, Nasal Breathers are slow reactors.
    I wear my rue with a difference on the street where you live.
  16. Ataraxia on August 25, 2013 at 09:32
    Ah. Slow but steady.
    For I (too) have often walked down this street before
    But the pavement always stayed beneath my feet before
    /and there’s nowhere else on earth that I would rather be (dimpled smiling now!)
  17. Brad on August 25, 2013 at 11:30
    “In essence, humans now have the luxury of being dumb as nails without paying the price ”
    Richard, I don’t know about this. The dumb are the current majority of the obesity and CVD epidemic thanks to their own gullibility, lack of intelligence, willpower, laziness, and of course the money grubbing food industry. And they are passing down their inferior genes to their offspring. As a group these people won’t live as long and so in theory over generations there should be a thinning of this gene pool, no? I guess a big factor as you point out is how many offspring these fat ass morons have compared to the higher quality humanos.
    Eg., Coca-Cola is the saber toothed tiger of today. An tiger that licks you to death over many years, so you don’t notice… well, if you’re a dumb ass.
  18. Brad on August 25, 2013 at 11:32
    Correction… I meant to say “money grubbing food-like products industry”
  19. Ataraxia on August 25, 2013 at 13:50
    “…they are passing down their inferior genes to their offspring.”
    So you mean, the British nobility had the right of it after all?
    Damn, they shoulda had Coca-Cola back then, The East India Company just didn’t lick hard enough apparently.
  20. Brad on August 25, 2013 at 14:56
    @Ataraxia, say what? I’m not getting your point. Maybe my lack of history knowledge.
    Btw, not to pull this thread too far off course, but I bumped into this on that dirt eating topic. Interesting stuff from the CDC, no less. Though I’m not quire ready to chow down on a mud pie…
    Geophagy (Eating Dirt) and Its Reasons:
  21. LeonRover on August 26, 2013 at 02:58
    Geophagia, coprophagia, emetophagia – hmmmm . . .
    I have commented elsewhere on FTA concerning emetophagia, thusly:
    “Dear Christ guys:
    Every dog-owner says Love it or Leave it when puppy training.
    In more genteel times, Dubliners often referred to an opponent as ‘a piece a’ dog’s vomit’.
    Eat it!”
    Re “The East India Company just didn’t lick hard enough apparently”, I agree.
    Reminds me of the joke:
    Q. How does a French-woman hold her liquor?
    A. By the ears . . .
    I guess the East India Company should have been slapped about the ears.
  22. Ataraxia on August 26, 2013 at 21:31
    just when I was gearing up for a spirited discussion, you come out all wide-eyed and innocent. Damn!
    O.k., please go back up the comment thread to see interaction on intelligence and heritability between Richard and me. It was before you joined discussion. Please comment if you’d like.
    Meanwhile, my apparently cryptic nobility-referencing response to you assumes you weren’t just being sarcastic in the first place. I’m still wondering about that, so if you were, hallelujah (!) and please confess?
    Because I can use another smile…..liquor-grasping French women aside (seriously Leon ? – spilled coffee all over computer!).
