While any Oracle can be wrong, the thing to achieve is to be incrementally more right or prescient, rooting out being wrong and self-serving chronically.
While I tongue-in-cheek repeat often that 2020 transformed my misanthropy—from focussed and targeted, to blurry and generalized…
…in the large it’s a good thing because, being somewhat deferent to the proclivities and idiosyncrasies of strangers naturally…because I’m typically curious before being judgmental…this Covid thing—and people’s petrified fear over it—has given me serious pause because in large part it signals a sort of basic and fundamental incompatibility amongst us.
It’s one thing to be amongst people who are afraid of almost everything. We all know people like that. Some are family members we otherwise love dearly. But, heretofore, such people have had, themselves, to contend with the scary world. You try to help when you can, reassure, etc., but the bottom line is that it’s their problem to contend with.
Not anymore!!! and damn you all to hell if you don’t validate our pathetic and pussified FEAR OF LIVING!!! The most fearful people on earth, of, BASIC LIVING ON EARTH, are now driving public policy on earth to the utter delight of elitists, politicians, big corp, and high tech.
It is a wet dream for them.
Amongst the clips at the link below, should you watch them all, you’ll see Bill Gates smile and say, “you don’t have a choice.” Nicely self-exposed. I’m just waiting for someone to get to him to met out what’s deserved, if you know what I mean.
Let me not keep you: ORACLE FILMS.
THE PUSHBACK is the latest, the one that gives me hope and somewhat tempers my misanthropy. I am a sucker for this exact sort of thing and if you’re my kind of peeps, so are you. A MEMBER of this site turned me onto it yesterday morning. I took a quick glance. Wow, fresh and new, so I logged it to watch later as I was in the midst of drafting and editing the posts here that I published yesterday. Once finished, I began to watch it, from Oracle Films’ YouTube Channel. I like this because I can easily watch on my big TV via the YT app on Roku. 18 minutes into watching it, it shut off. On reload, the message was “This video is associated with an account that has been terminated.”
Watch it and make your own judgement about YouTube deleting it, and what were their most likely motivations for doing so. Even if you hold that as a private entity and they have that right, why this, and not the mega tons of complete debasing crap they don’t delete? Huh?
Watch, as hundreds of thousands of unmasked—in 40 countries around the world—hold rallies you never heard heard about on 20 March, 2021. When they were reported on, it was characterized as “hundreds,” not tens of thousands in many of the rally centers in may countries; moreover, as ‘disgruntled white-right-wing extremists.’ Yada yada. Well, watch with your own eyes. Tell me you’ve ever see such a multi-cultural and multi-ideological rally organized around the simple idea of living as human beings regardless of all lesser considerations that, at times, might divide us.
In this we can be, and are, united.
There is an underlying theme you ought to take note of and I mention it because I want you to. There is a fundamental doctrine that is at the foundation of Christianity and soundly distinguishes it from Judaism and Islam, the three Abrahamic religions that dominate the planet. It’s called the doctrine of Original Sin.
Original sin is the Christian doctrine that humans inherit a tainted nature and a proclivity to sin through the fact of birth. Theologians have characterized this condition in many ways, seeing it as ranging from something as insignificant as a slight deficiency, or a tendency toward sin yet without collective guilt, referred to as a “sin nature”, to total depravity or automatic guilt of all humans through collective guilt.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Original_sin
My favorite critique of the notion was written by the Russian Immigrant to the USA, Ayn Rand, back in the 1950s.
Your code begins by damning man as evil, then demands that he practice a good which it defines as impossible for him to practice. It demands, as his first proof of virtue, that he accept his own depravity without proof. It demands that he start, not with a standard of value, but with a standard of evil, which is himself, by means of which he is then to define the good: the good is that which he is not.
It does not matter who then becomes the profiteer on his renounced glory and tormented soul, a mystic God with some incomprehensible design or any passer-by whose rotting sores are held as some inexplicable claim upon him—it does not matter, the good is not for him to understand, his duty is to crawl through years of penance, atoning for the guilt of his existence to any stray collector of unintelligible debts, his only concept of a value is a zero: the good is that which is non-man.
The name of this monstrous absurdity is Original Sin.http://aynrandlexicon.com/lexicon/original_sin.html
Now watch the film and watch particularly the admonitions to wear masks, and why. Connect the dots.
You are guilty. You breathe. You respirate. You are, by nature, a spreader of disease, even without symptoms of any disease. You are a spreader and a vector of disease. You are guilty by fact of your birth and your nature as human.
Let me ask you to indulge me a moment to talk about what I’m up to. I’ve turned this blog into a mostly Members Only website, after 18 years and 5,000 posts. I simply can’t tolerate having to constantly worry about what I say, how the algorithms will “judge” it, and what the effect of “Report This Post” will be. So, rather than use Social Media or 3rd Party Services to distribute my own thoughts, I have taken everything in-house and ponied up the substantial costs to do that. And it’s live.
I’m not starting from zero, my list of peeps is about 12,000 and people are gradually signing up for free or paid membership levels and, as well, those free are popping every day for one or more premium levels because it’s totally a-la-carte, which was a must for me, since over many years I have the feedback of, “Richard, I LOVE your posts about X, but I HATE your posts about Y!
So that’s why it is how it is because one of my favorite sayings about paying for something is:
“Everything you need, nothing you don’t.”
So you can check out what you love or need, leave what you hate and don’t need, right here.
